Weekly testing of ammonia levels will indicate if the biological filter is working effectively or if the ammonia is reaching dangerous levels.
If you have any ammonia and live stock in your tank, address this immediately with large daily water changes and appropriate water conditioners to remove, convert or lock up your ammonia. Prolonged readings of ammonia with live stock will result in fish death in roughly 48 hours.

Yeah,a nice simple to use kit, the box however is way to big for its contents (1 bottle, 1 test tube, dropper and instruction booklet)
Very easy to read the results ,0 ppm being colourless. The price was very reasonable.
