When we first saw these gravels I knew they were going to be great so needless to say I was rather excited when they turned up in our order. And they didn’t disappoint either. Imagine a classical landscape in Japan where you see pictures of streams with rocks and boulders that have been washed down and settle to the side. A mixture of sizes, shapes and colours creates an element of calm and the soothing landscape becomes a memory which will last forever.
Our ultimate goal is to create a nature aquarium and this means using natural products. Finding gravel that looks very natural is hard going and ADA Aqua Gravel is the only type I’ve seen that looks just as you hope. In fact as soon as you see it, your imagination goes wild and the choices then seem endless. Oddly enough, the gravel does have a very calming appearance…
Available in 4 different sizes, S, M, L and LL in both 2 and 8kg bags, the sizes of the gravel is perfect for any sized aquarium depending on what you are trying to achieve. Using a mixture of 2-3 sizes will provide the best effect and create that Nature Aquarium that you so desire. The careful grading makes aquascaping easy and you will surprise yourself and how easy it is to finish off a planted aquarium with these gravels. If you look at many of Amano’s aquascapes today you will see how he uses them to their best effect.
