Originating from North America this plant is most attractive. It has long sturdy stems and small, neat leaves growing from them. Ludwigia's are always popular stem plants and the red version is the most popular! It adds a lovely warmth to your aquarium and provides a delightful contrast to red plants.

Like all stem plants they prefer bright light and are best positioned towards the middle/back of the aquarium.

Conditions:

• Preferred water temperature is 22-30 ºC. 
• Ideal water chemistry is pH 6-7.8.
• Can be kept in a medium to high light environment.
• Suitable in both CO2 and non CO2 tanks.
• Midground plant.
