Description

A moss speciality from Brasil, 1-3 cm tall, called "Christmas tree moss'', because of its side branch structure which distinguishes it from ordinary Vesicularia dubyana and looks like fir tree branches. It is more demanding than ordinary Java moss and grows more slowly. It attaches readily to roots and stones, and as it spreads in the water it needs pruning to keep its shape attractive. See also Taxiphyllum barbieri.

1•2•Grow! Are very young plants cultivated and delivered directly from our laboratory. The plants are guaranteed to be free from snails, algae and pesticides and therefore are totally harmless for sensitive shrimp and fish. The range offers unique plants!

Success with your aquarium depends largely on the proper plant choice. In a 1•2•Grow! cup you buy a myriad of plants which can be divided into small portions and cover a larger area. Plants are compact from the start so you will experience a dense and beautiful growth, if you give them the right fertilser and CO2 from the start! The range is perfect for small and medium sized aquariums, and your patience will be rewarded...

1-2 GROW! have a large range of different plants, some common and some rare. Check them out!

I have waited a while before posting a review because i wanted to see how things went. I have to say i am over the moon with this moss and it looks fantastic attached to my redmoor root in the nano tank.

Really nice moss that I have tied onto some wood which is growing like mad.

As a beginner in the aquascaping world, I found this 'system' rather difficult. For me washing the gel off the base of the moss resulted in my washing half of the plant down the sink too! I had expected more of a matted root system rather than individual 'leaves'. However once I placed the moss into the bed of the tank using the clear clips designed for anchoring plants in the substrate, it looked fabulous and has grown wonderfully well since! An easy plant if your careful on preparation.

This plant initially looked a little yellow, however, after tying it to a rock and living in my aquarium for the last 7 days is now looking good and growing well
