Description

Schismatoglottis prietoi is a new plant from the Phillippines and looks quite similar to the Crypocoryne species. It's also similar in the growing speeds - it's quite slow which makes it ideal for low tech aquariums where low maintenance is required.

Grows to 15cm in heigh, requires medium lighting to flourish and is perfect for beginners.

Beautiful condition, not a particularly flashy plant but a nice rich green crinkle edged leaf that makes a solid addition to the aquarium.

Hmmm. Expected more of this and whether on wood or in substrate it's just been fodder for the fish to rip apart for fun.

I received the strongest, healthiest plants possible. They are stunning, as others have said like a crypt/anubias look, growing in a dense deep green clump. If I had to complain, the root system was so strong that removing the rock wool took an eternity! I hope they do well, but that's over to me...
