Lysimachia nummularia is a well known 'Cold water plant'. Originating from Central America this plant has spread throughout the world adapting to different temperature zones.

This plant is very un-demanding and adapts very well. Its only real hate is long periods of high temperature. If you wanted you could grow this around ponds as it is able to survive dry phases.

Found this plant by accident on the plants pages. Did some research on it and in its emersed form it grows yellow flowers. So it is now part of my emersed rear wall collection. Keep checking the website for new plants as you're bound to find an unusual plant that fits your aquarium.

Grows tall fast and roots well in fine gravel, would advise buying a few and planting them whole as separating them was difficult. They look much better and bushier whole too, can make good hiding places if needed
