Description

This is a really cool product in which java moss has been grown on a piece of wood, approximately 16x7cm in diamater (sometimes slightly longer).

It's ideal for placing directly onto the substrate and like magic, you've got an instant carpet of moss. If you put a few of these together it would look truly fabulous.

So easy to care for, give it some light (not bright light) and some ferts and it will be happy as larry.

Love it. Soft and lush. Looks great placed on top of my cave.

Came great, after about one month with good lighting it is beginning to bush, I have nipped a bit off and put it on rocks and it is slowly spreading. Really happy with it! Shrimps and fry love it!

My shrimp love it and also it collects food and the fish rest on it. It's very green and soft to touch

Absolutely love this! Always tried to find thin wood myself or even cut thin pieces off but could never find any, this piece I received was incredibly thin allowing me to push it into the substrate and hide the wood! Moss is growing great and my shrimps are never off it! Was also bigger than expected which is always a bonus

Stunning. And a nice little bed to drop tablet food on and easily clean without debris going in gravel.

I was pleased with my shelf and it had a good covering of moss, however I have only given 4 stars because I feel the photograph is rather misleading. It shows moss that is established but mine was not. This is the only fault. I have the shelf over two Brazil nut shells creating a bridge for my Amano shrimps and they really love it.

Hi, can you tell me if you are supposed to cut the line holding the moss to the wood? or just let it grow thru

Staff

No. That's what holds the moss in place :)

Can you advise how to carpet the substrate with this? Do you attach it with something or cover with some substrate to pin down?

Staff

just put them in place - you’ll need a few but nothing else required
