Excellent service and top quality plants
I bought some plant trimming tools and more recently a selection of easy grow plants from aqua essentials for 75l tank
The service and delivery was excellent and both orders arrived quickly and the quality of the tools and the plants fantastic.

One stop shop
I've ordered rocks, plants and shrimp from these guys. All were dispatched promptly and arrived in excellent condition (although I was a little worried when my shrimp initially appeared lifeless, all survived though). Great products and value for money. Really can't fault anything.

First step into aquascaping
Being a long-term fish keeper, but not one who had ever taken on tropical plants seriously, I did a great deal of research as to who I should trust my supplies to. All of the forums I took part in provided nothing but positive feedback on Aqua Essentials, so trusting these unbiased contributors, I ordered a 200l mixed plant pack. I opted for the more technical, CO2 reliant collection, as I thought "in for a penny etc". I could not have been more delighted with my purchase, every aspect, form delivery time, packaging and plant health was absolutely superb. Plants were clearly labelled, and so I had the confidence to tackle what had previously seemed a daunting task. Two weeks on and my tank looks great, I have a little self induced hair algae as I work out CO2 dosage, but that is 100% my issue, I turn the box off now and just watch the great select blipping O2. I'm about to attack my second tank now, happy in the knowledge that I know just where to go for my plant supplies. GREAT WORK GUYS

Outstanding service + product!!
As a new Aquarist, it's a complete minefield out there with conflicting opinions everywhere and numerous retailers focused on making money above all else. One constant I came across though on various forums was consistently positive feedback on Aquaessentials. So once I'd set up and cycled a tank and was ready to tackle my first bash at a scape, I thought I'd see what all the fuss was about. The website is clear with a vast range and tons of great info. and after a pleasant evening browsing it I opted for a 25l mixed box, a couple of additional plants to top it up and 6kg of stone. I received order confirmation by email promptly, and when I had a question about my order the following day it was answered within 10 minutes!!! From memory, I think my order was shipped the following day, again with an email update with an estimated delivery date. On the day of delivery I got both an email and a text with a 1hr window for delivery and bang on the time I'd been given it arrived. The box was really well packed and I was blown away by how many plants were in the mixed box and what a great selection, didn't need the "top up" ones I'd added! Even more impressive was the stone I'd ordered, thoughtful range of shapes and sizes and stunning looking rock, even better when submerged. I ended up with enough plants, moss and rock to set up a 2nd tank (rude not to really) and I'm delighted with how they both look. All plants are thriving 2 weeks on, even in my beginners hands. I can't recommend this company highly enough and will be using them exclusively for any future purchases, no need to look anywhere else, these guys are the best!
