Motherplant, grown in a 9 cm square pot.

‘Siamensis’ originates from Thailand and have stems from 15-40 cm and 10-15 cm wide. Leaves are light green and dense.

Plant several stems in a group at the background of the aquarium, cut off the top shoots when they reach the water surface and replant these. They will soon form new roots and continue growing. In open aquariums, Hygrophila corymbosa 'Siamensis' grows easily above the water surface, where it forms blue-green leaves and small blue flowers. It grows fast and the shoots should be pinched out regularly if you want to keep the plant underwater. An extremely hardy plant, suitable for beginners.

Note - the picture is a guide only and what you receive may be smaller (or larger) than the picture as we are not the growers and therefore cannot control the size. If you need to know specifically what size the plant is that we have atm, drop us an email and we can let you know.

I just had to have one after seeing Richard’s video! Huge plant as promised and has settled in really well after having lost a few leaves initially. A great purchase.

Hi can I leave this plant in the pot, or do you recommend taking out of pot and separating shoots individually to plant, thank you

remove from pot and gently tease apart unless you want more of a focal point

I'm happy for the focal point thanks, would it grow just as good left in pot please. Thank you

not as good but still fine

What is the chance of snails or snail eggs on your plants
