Description

Eleocharis montevidensis is an awesome background aquarium plant. Long and slender the bright green stems are only a few millimeters thick, but bunch up together which creates an exceptional addition to your tank. It is suitable as a background plant, reaching heights of 50cm!!!

The plant spreads through runners, which occasionally have to be trimmed and maybe planted elsewhere, in front or in the centre of the aquarium, in transparent wads, in order to create depth and perspective.

Excellent plant, thrived when others died so must be hardy. The shrimp love it in particular.

Are your plants snails and pesticides free?

No pesticides but if you want guaranteed is now free plants then you need to buy tissue culture. However we do keep nearly all of our plants above the waterline so the chances of snails are very limited
