This lovely big leafed plant originates from South America and is one of the more well-known sword plants in the hobby. The leaves are quite narrow being anything from 3-6cm in width and the stems noticeably longer than Echindorus bleheri. Once this plant has started growing underwater, expect the leaves to look even more narrow and longer. Some leaves grow impressively long and if your tank is large enough, expect 50cm length leaves! With that in mind, this plant is better for larger tanks with deep substrates.
Note: the picture is an example of the species you will receive and whilst the pot size will always be the same, every plant is unique and natural which means they vary in shape and size.
