Description

The Echinodorus impaii is a sturdy leafed plant that is easy on the eye. Solid looking and grows to a decent size with shapely dark green leaves this plant flourishes readily when planted in a good, rich substrate.

Depending on the aquarium size this can work well as both a mid and background plant and will look stunning when planted amongst other plants with contrasting colours and textures.

A good quality plant fertiliser like Neutro T will also help this plant to mature to the beautiful plant it can become.

Beautiful and healthy plant, hardly any damage to the leaves.

This plant arrived in beautiful condition, nice strong roots on it too. I removed the basket and floss type stuff, gave it a rinse and it went in the aquarium. It looks great in there. Delivery was quick and the packing was good, not too much padding (didn't need it) and the box was a repurpose one as stated in their leaflet. It will be reused again by me in the near future so an extra bonus :). Emails to inform me of the status of delivery came quickly so I could plan a bit of time to sort and be ready to plant them. Well worth buying from them

How big does this plant grow, width and height?

Staff

Grows pretty big but only with ideal conditions. It can do 40cm height pretty easy so a nice background plant.

Should you pant them in a group as they come in the pot? Or best to separate a few inches apart each individual plant?

Staff

Remove the plants from the plastic pots, I would plant them in a group as splitting Echinodorus can be tricky.
