This plant gets its name from it's long slender leaves. Bright patches of colour similar to those you would see on a python. Under bright lighting, the newest leaves are an intense red colour which makes it look very special and attractive. Nutrient-rich substrate and a good supply of CO2 encourage strong growth. As with most Echinodorus, these plants are most effective when used singly.
It's not a difficult plant to grow - like all Echindorus they're pretty established plants so recommended for beginners and up.
