Professional plant food

ProFitoEasy-Life ProFito is an all-in-one, universal plant food which is suitable for all water plants in aquaria. The composition of ProFito ensures strong, healthy and lush plant growth. Thanks to the optimal composition of the ingredients, plants have everything they need for unhindered, strong and lush growth.

  • All the necessary nutrients in a single product, such as iron, potassium and manganese
  • Strong, healthy and lush plant growth
  • Promotes the production of cytokinins, which stimulates the division of cells
  • Produces wider leaves and intense colours
  • Improves and consolidates the biological balance in the aquarium
  • Contains no nitrates or phosphates
  • Extremely economical to use

ProFito stimulates the division of cells

The high concentrations of, in particular, iron, potassium and magnesium in ProFito fulfil the plants’ need to absorb large quantities of these nutrients. This plant food contains also many other micronutrients (including manganese, boron, cobalt, lithium, molybdenum, copper, tin, nickel, fluorine, iodine, aluminium, zinc, selenium and vanadium). These substances and a number of rare minerals that are added give plants exactly what they require for trouble-free growth. The plants are stimulated to create cytokinins (plant hormones), which stimulate the division of cells. The leaves grow to become much wider and the colours become extremely vibrant.

Thanks to the optimal supply of nutrients provided by ProFito, water plants grow quickly and stronger. As a result, unwanted substances in the aquarium water, such as certain nitrogen and phosphate compounds, are absorbed by the plants more quickly. Nitrate, phosphate and ammonium are, therefore, removed from the aquarium water more quickly by the plants. ProFito relieves the burden placed on the water and a better biological balance is created in the aquarium.

ProFito does not contain nitrate or phosphate. The nutrients in ProFito are stabilized in a number of different ways by various chelators. Antioxidants and preservatives slow down the perishability of ProFito, which guarantees a longer shelf life. Storing the product in a cool and dark place also increases the shelf life.

Weekly 10 ml per 100 litres water

The dosage is very economical : 10 ml per 100 litres aquarium water every week.

It's also possible to add 1/7 of the total dosage on a daily basis.

The colour of the product can vary from dark green to dark brown. Use the first couple of weeks about 1/3 of the dosage. That can later be adjusted to attain the best possible growth rate (weekly per 100 litres 10 ml +/- 40%). The best dosage can be determined by observing the youngest leaves of the plant. If they are light green, then the dosage can be increased. When algae should appear and/or no further growth enhancement of the plants can be observed, then the dosage may be reduced. The introduction of some fast-growing plants can indeed be very helpful to prevent algae.

This a very complete liquid fertilizer for your plants. Very good for a low energy set up with liquid carbon. I am currently dosing 1mL a day on a 60 Litre tank. Price wise its in the mid range. The cheaper ones don't tell you whats in the bottle though. Easy life are a good brand and you know exactly whats in the bottle. The more expensive ones are the same formula. Will be buying again.

I use this to supply traces and extra potassium used along side a potassium nitrate/phosphate solution. Good dosing cap and happy plants.

Ask a question about this product
Does this product harm crustaceans? Regards M Smith

Nope! Totally safe.

This product contains copper? Will it not affect shrimps or even fishes?

The copper level is very low and therefore totally safe.

Do I need to remove active carbon from the filter? Before using.

Yes. No need for carbon in a planted tank. Use seachem purigen instead to polish water.
