Clean water without algae

Algae are produced when an aquarium is not well balanced. Causes of an unbalanced aquarium are the excessive feeding of fish, too many fish in an aquarium, excessive lighting or excessive fertilization. You also take them home when you purchase fish or plants!

AlgExit is a safe and effective product for combating almost all types of algae in a freshwater aquarium. Algae, such as beard algae, brush algae and filamentous algae, are effectively wiped out. AlgExit is easy and economical to use and harmless to fish, shrimps, molluscs and plants. The algae growth is first brought to a standstill and then it disappears. Any algae spores that are still present in the water are removed.

USAGE

Add 10 ml per 100 litres once a week for four weeks. This period may be extended if algae still remain or if spores continue to germinate.

Sorry Aqua-essentials. Please, don't delete this review! I am always VERY happy with your products, but this one should be removed AND prohibited from buying! It is dangerous. I was using it according to the instruction. After 4 weeks - sure- most of the algae disappeared. BUT with them - my algae eating snails AND my Otocinclus Catfish!!! So this product can kill your FISH and SNAILS. My shrimps disappeared too, but I am not sure if they are dead (too many plants). Stay away from it! Did it kill my algae? Mostly in one tank, poorly in the other. Did it kill my fish and snails? Yes - In both tanks.

I have had an ongoing algae issue.. I increased my circulation in the tank and added Algexit. It has worked a miracle. At last no more nasty black algae on the leaves of my heavily planted tank. I highly recommend this product and it doesn’t harm your plants or fish. I thought I would never get rid of the algae but thanks to Algexit I have. Great product.
