Description

Originating from Sri Lanka the Cryptocoryne nevellii is an appealing bushy plant with lovely stems and green leaves. A highly attractive plant which will add instant vibrancy and interest to your planted aquarium. As with most Crypts this plant requires little attention and will grow happily under low light.

Ideally place in the aquarium amongst rocks in clusters of two to three. This will create an 'all-natural' effect in your aquarium.

Understanding Crypt melt - all Cryptocoryne species require stable water parameter and light conditions. Once planted, Crypts should not be moved otherwise it can trigger what is called Crypt melt. If a Crypt has a significant change of environment (ph, kh , gh, lighting intensity or duration, root disturbance etc), Crypt melt can be triggered. The leaves start to disintegrate as the plant prepares for its new environment - DO NOT WORRY! Your plant will begin to grow back over the next 30 days (sometimes sooner, sometimes later) - it's still very much alive and busy getting ready for the growth of new leaves. In the meantime, any decaying leaves should be trimmed and recycled in a compost bin.

Will certainly buy from here again, was able to get 3-4 plants out of one pot. Well pleased, new leaves sprouting already. First class service and plants were very fresh with no browning.

Bought two of these to replace some large plants which were obscuring light at the top of the tank.. Arrived quick and well packaged. Really good condition and no damaged or brown leaves. Look good in the mid-ground area

I have this in my shrimp tank and it looks amazing. And shrimps like to stay upside down on the leaves with it's cool and the colour of the leaves it's great.
