Description

Ceratopteris siliquosa is a beautiful aquarium plant with a relatively short rhizome. The leaves are all shaped differently and are light green in colour which makes it look quite special. Some people call this a Sumatra fern. It grows to a decent size of about 60 cm in a relatively short period of time.

The strong roots quickly permeate the substrate and it's best to trim the leaves regularly and any new sheets can be cut off and replanted. In general a very decorative aquarium plant looks best planted behind something like a rock or piece of wood and is suitable for beginners and up.

Unfortunately the plant arrived in a bad condition, rotting roots etc. However, the team has sent me a coupon to compensate for it.

Strong healthy plant supplied. No problems adapting to my water and an instant impact in the aqua scape. More robust than it looks.

Great sized plant, bigger than I expected and in excellent condition. Has settled into my tank really well and already got new leaves on it. Great site and really helpful advice and easy site to navigate my way round. will be ordering more in the future from them.

I was delighted with these plants. They arrived in great condition and have grown well. They are now well established and a focal point of my aqurium. I highly recommend them.

As this has a rhizome I assume it is not planted directly in the substrate?
