Chris was kind enough to leave a Video Testimonial of Aqua Essentials for us and we wanted to share it with you. I hope this type of testimonial gives you confidence when you order with us, you always know you’re getting the very best aquarium plants and other goods 🙂
Like all businesses we understand it can feel slightly risque particularly if you have had a bad experience before but this should help to diffuse any concern. We’ve got lots of other video testimonials so please have a look out for them too.
I stumbled across this customer review of our plants which was nice. You see if you provide great quality items, you get great quality customers who do things off their own back. Love it.
If you’re looking for a bit of inspiration again, well check this video out. You won’t find better anywhere in the world and I understand these guys perform 5 days of maintenance per week so that customers can view the gallery on the weekends! That’s commitment heh.
Check out this fantastic 10,000L tank which was created in a Pets At Home Store – very impressive. It had to be viewed from 3 sides which makes the aquascape even harder so hats off to the guys who created it.
They don’t come any bigger than this. Not only is this tank HUGE but it’s also scaped by the most famous Aquascaper in the world, Mr Takashi Amano – an inspiration for me and one of the reasons I became interested in planted aquariums.
To take on a tank of this size is tremendous – you would certainly want as much of it to be automated as possible such as water changes, and even better if you have others to maintain it for you. Nevertheless truly incredible don’t you think?
Classic iwagumi really which is easy to maintain and easy on the eye. I’m a big fan of these types of aquariums as they are just so relaxing and fortunately they don’t take a great deal of maintenance. It’s a large tank so water changes are probably the hardest thing but that’s about it.
This truly is an amazing aquascaped that has been finished to the very highest standard. Tropica have a great team of aquascapers working for them and I hope they are inspiring you.
Notice how the water is only about 2cm deep at the beginning – this is great advice for anyone as it makes working in a tank so much easier. As are using tweesers for planting up (fingers are cumbersome). Anyway I hope you enjoy.
Cryptocoryne moehlmannii is just so easy on the eye, it’s hard not to want one in your aquarium. Like all cryptpcorynes, they’re very easy to keep and this one is no different (apart from its looks). See the HD video below and if you like it, please hit the thumbs up button.
Below I’ve done a short clip of Alternanthera rosaefolia – you may have seen these types of clips before from me. Generally about 1 minute long so you get to see the plant in the flesh (well almost anyway).
Here’s another Youtube clip to feast your eyes on. These short movies are a taster of the plant in which I summerise a few key points about the plant. The plan is to do one of each plant and with over 150 potted varieties already in stock, the thought is a bit of a deterrent (but I’ll battle through :))
So I’m getting creative and producing high quality HD videos of our plants. This allows you (my lovely customers) to get a more in depth view of the plant you are currently admiring. And what better way to do this than a short clip.
Each one lasts about 90 seconds, and I’ve left a few notes on each plant for reference.
Here’s another cracking YouTube clip that I just have to share. I say this time and time again but ADG are just the best at these vids and their aquascaping is A1.
If you’re looking for inspiration then these guys should be your mentor. And don’t forget you can use any wood and rock combo to get the same effect. Be creative.
notice the 50% water change too. Take note peeps. Are you doing your 50% water change weekly?
