Originating from Madagascar the Aponogeton Capouroni Bulb is a beautiful center piece for your tank. This bulb has bright green leaves with undulating margins. the leaves can grow up to 50cm given the right conditions.

This plant grows VERY QUICKLY in the aquarium too under basic conditions. We provide it will very little light and it grows SUPER QUICK with little water movement. We've tried it under faster water movement and it loves that too which means this plant is suitable for beginners and up.

In terms of positioning, obviously the background is the only suitable location. Simply drop it into the chosen location and leave it be. It will throw roots down and anchor itself. Note: All bulbs are sent without leaves (so bulb only).

It's difficult for me to write an objective review about this plant, as the bulb I planted never grew! It could have been that I had trouble with the aquarium lighting, and therefore the plant insufficient light to help it grow. I imagine if this plant or bulb was treated correctly it would look very decorative in an aquarium.

plant described as fast growing but 3 weeks in and mine has only just started throwing out leaves around 7cm long. having said that I'm very happy with the plant and of course it's probably my tanks conditions causing the slow growth running slightly higher temps than this plant. Came as described, a bulb with stems cut in good packaging

A bulb only with two one inch naked stems is all it is right enough - not sure it can withstand the manhandling of our rather large goldfish? I was hoping to buy mature plants. My fault for not reading the information correctly. Will leave it in, and see if anything can develop.

lovely plant, good size bulb and has grown rapidly.

this was supplied to me as a plant rather than a bulb. after a day in the tank it produced a rather nice flower which has since died back and produced small plantlets. i have heard stories of this plant dieing back and going dormant for a few months after this happens but mine is still growing leaves, after a couple of weeks one of the leaves is about 40cm long and it is still sending out new growth.

Arrived as a bulb, but grows very quickly. Look unusual in the tank - just what I wanted.
