Very bright but thin, very well made and splash proof I dropped mine in the tank while trying to upgrade my hood. Give a shimmer affect even very close to water, 9-10 cm. Also bought the controller so i can dim it during the evening for viewing Superb. Richard was really helpful in talking me through the different mounting options.
