Top Tip: Lack of CO2 is a major factor for algae in a planted aquarium. Make sure you have sufficient CO2, good water movement to push your CO2 around your tank (normally more than one pump is required) and use decent fertilisers such as AE Design Aqua Nourish and Nourish+.
