The Fresh Start Tap Water Conditioner (No 1) can be used in any coldwater or tropical aquarium system. It is completely harmless to filters and all species of fish and plant life and will not colour your water.

Tap water contains chlorine and heavy metals that are toxic to the fishes skin and gills so we recommend that anyone starting a new aquarium and carrying out new water changes should use Fresh Start. Fresh Start removes the toxic chemicals and metals as well as coating the fish with a protective barrier of a natural colloid.

We also recommend that you use Fresh Start whenever you top up your aquarium with tap water and/ or if you suspect there may be heavy metal poisoning.
