The Aquafleur Vesicularia Dubyana commonly known as Java Moss is a bundle of moss with many purposes in a tropical aquarium. The versatile nature of this plant allows it to used in many ways. It can be tied to wood such as driftwood, redmoor, sumatra and borneowild wood. It will also grow happily on rocks such as lava rock.

Simply unravel the moss and separate the strands of moss, place on your chosen piece of decor (I recommend one bunch per decor piece depending on size). Then fastening with fine line or aqua ties.

With adequate light and fertilisation, the plant will easily cover the line or tie and all you will see is the moss growing nicely on the piece of decor.

Shrimp love to graze on this moss and if you place it on your substrate a carpet effect will form.

Conditions:

    •    Preferred water temperature is 20-28 degree.
    •    Ideal water chemistry is pH 6-8.4.
    •    Can be kept in a low to high light environment.
    •    Suitable in both CO2 and non CO2 tanks.
    •    Foreground plant.

Ideal for beginners due to the robust and diverse nature of this aquatic plant.

We strongly recommend when purchasing live plants you opt for Express Delivery, Recorded Delivery or First Class post. If you opt for 2nd Class post and your plants arrive in an unsatisfactory condition we can not be responsible for this and can not issue replacements or refunds.

Arrived nicely packaged. It was quite a bit smaller than I had expected. There was a small bit of it that had started to die already which couldn't be seen until I unrolled it in order to split it up into separate bunches. It has taken well to my tank, and although I can't yet seen any growth (its been in my tank well over a week), it has increased a great deal in its "greeness" and is now a very rich and dark green.
