The Echinodorus Compacta is a neat and eye-catching aquatic plant with long, lean green stems and shapely green and red leaves that sit nicely of the ends. Each leaf also has a striking stem lines through them.
Ideally plant at the back or mid ground of the aquarium and plant. I recommend you plant in a good, rich substrate such as Oliver Knott Nature Soil or one of the other branded substrates. Try planting some Crypts around the base of these plants along with a few pebbles for a natural and wholesome look.
