Originating from Southern Thailand Crypt Balansae is a simple and attractive looking plant with fine stems supporting neat and crisp/crinkled leaves.

Ideally position in the aquarium in clumps of 4-5. Scatter them around a rock to create a wild and natural look and feel. They will need to acclimatise before this plant withh flourish and grow.

Conditions:

Preferred water temperature is 20-28 degrees.
Ideal water chemistry is pH 5-9.
Can be kept in a low to medium light environment.
Suitable in both CO2 and non CO2 tanks.
Mid to background plant.

This is my first time to order from Aqua Essentials and I was not disappointed. Their packaging was very nice compared to other sellers. Communication was very good too. If you want hassle-free online shopping for aquatic plants, Aqua Essentials is very recommendable. This plant was still in good condition by the time I received it considering that it took around almost 2 weeks in transit. I should have bought more of this.
