A beautiful background plant that is very decorative. It is large and strong and is only really suitable for large aquariums.

Originating from Madagascar this plant can produce some very large leaves that are dark green in colour while the younger leaves are light green and sometimes brown until matured.

In the wild this plants grows in fast flowing water so therefore will flourish with a water current.

Not fussy of water conditions but as always a CO2 infused tank will allow it to grow very quickly.

This plant will require a dormant period when it will not show any leaves.

Conditions:

• Preferred water temperature is 22-30 degrees.
• Ideal water chemistry is pH 6-8.4.
• Can be kept in a low to high light environment.
• Suitable in both CO2 and non CO2 tanks.
• Background plant.
